A continuation from Then and Now, Light Evolution is a yearly study of a singular building through its construction to completion and inhabitation.
The photographs were made on March 31st or April 1st of each year for 5 years between 6:42 and 7:18 am from the same location with the same lens.
I’ve always found dawn a hopeful time of day. Possibly this is why I have always enjoyed morning activities and being out of the house.
This project honored that internal compass as spring in Vancouver unfolds full of hope.
