A continuation from Then and NowLight Evolution is a yearly study of a singular building through its construction to completion and inhabitation.

The photographs were made on March 31st or April 1st of each year for 5 years between 6:42 and 7:18 am from the same location with the same lens.

I’ve always found dawn a hopeful time of day.  Possibly this is why I have always enjoyed morning activities and being out of the house.

This project honored that internal compass as spring in Vancouver unfolds full of hope.
